The Worker’s Cottage was a challenging ordeal, originally built in 1935, extended in the 50’s and having had minor renovations carried out in the 80’s, it was a fibro-asbestos shack.

Kate took a leap of faith on her first flip and decided to dive straight into a structural renovation, whilst managing full-time work, an 11-month old baby and a 3 year old – talk about crazy!

‘The Hoarders House’. This project was even more challenging than the last. Talk about glutton for punishment! After settling on my first project in November, I purchased this ‘fixer-upper’ just before Christmas. My family and friends thought I was mad, to purchase at auction, a hoarder’s house that was completely unlivable and overgrown. Not to mention embarking on another structural renovation back-to-back!

The third property I’ll introduce is by no means any less work than its previous peers. ‘Bartonleigh House’ was the former home of the esteemed Lorna Jane, creator of the active wear empire. This home is a 5-bedroom heritage-listed home located in the exclusive suburb of Kensington in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
